Access to the service is offered free of charge within a limit of five (5) tokens per month for Essential accounts. Each token allows the generation or regeneration of a recipe. Unused tokens at the end of the month are not carried over to the following month.Mijotia+ accounts benefit from a higher monthly token allowance as well as advanced features. Pricing terms may change; any modifications will be communicated to the user electronically before taking effect.
By accessing the Mijotia service and creating an account, the user acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted without reservation these Terms of Service (hereafter "ToS"). If the user does not accept these terms, they must immediately cease all use of the service.
Using Mijotia's main features requires creating a user account. Registration is open to any adult individual or minor authorized by their legal representative. The user agrees to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration, including a valid email address. The Editor has no technical means of verifying user age and disclaims any responsibility in case of false declaration on this matter.
During registration, the user chooses a personal password. They are entirely responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any use of the service from their account is presumed to have been carried out by the user themselves. In case of loss, theft, or fraudulent use of their credentials, the user must immediately inform the Editor at contact@mijotia.com.
Account activation is conditional on verification of the email address provided during registration. A confirmation link is automatically sent to the provided address. Without this verification, access to service features is restricted. The user acknowledges that the Editor cannot be held responsible for activation failure due to an incorrect or inaccessible email address.
Only one account is authorized per individual. Creating multiple accounts, transferring accounts to third parties, or any other fraudulent use is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension of all affected accounts.

The recipes provided by Mijotia are automatically generated by an artificial intelligence system based on ingredients entered by the user. These recipes are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional nutritional, dietary, or medical advice. The Editor does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or relevance of generated recipes, which may contain errors or omissions.
Allergens and Food Intolerances: The user is solely and entirely responsible for verifying the presence of allergens in generated recipes before consumption. Mijotia does not guarantee complete identification of allergens that may be present in ingredients or recipes. Persons with food allergies or intolerances must imperatively verify each ingredient before use. Common allergens include (but are not limited to): gluten, milk/dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, soy, fish, crustaceans, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, mollusks, lupine, sulfites, and sulfur dioxide. The FDA additionally recognizes coconut as a tree nut allergen in the United States. Users with severe allergies should consult FDA and EFSA allergen classifications for their jurisdiction.
Ingredient Quality and Freshness: The user is solely responsible for the quality, freshness, and food safety compliance of ingredients used to prepare recipes. Mijotia cannot perform any inspection of products used in the user's domestic environment. Use of expired, spoiled, or unfit ingredients is solely the responsibility of the user.
Cooking Techniques and Food Safety: The user is solely responsible for cooking times, temperatures applied, and cooking techniques used when preparing recipes. Indications provided by the AI are approximate and do not account for the user's kitchen equipment specifics (oven power, cookware, altitude, etc.). Improper cooking, particularly of meats, poultry, fish, or eggs, may present health risks. Users should follow USDA, FDA, or equivalent local food safety guidelines for safe internal temperatures.
Health Status and Special Diets: The user is solely responsible for ensuring recipes' suitability to their health status, particular nutritional needs, any prescribed medical diet, pregnancy, or other specific medical conditions. When in doubt about a recipe's compatibility with your health status, consult a healthcare professional (physician, dietitian, allergist) before preparation.
Disclaimer of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mijotia and its editor expressly disclaim all liability for any health issues, food poisoning, allergic reactions, injuries, bodily or material damage, or any other direct or indirect harm resulting from the preparation or consumption of recipes generated by the service, the use of suggested ingredients, or any other use of content provided by Mijotia.
All elements constituting the Mijotia service — including source code, graphic design, user interfaces, logos, trademarks, editorial content, and general website structure — are the exclusive property of Johann Girboux and protected by French Intellectual Property Code provisions and international intellectual property conventions.
Recipes generated by Mijotia's artificial intelligence system are automatically produced based on data provided by the user. They are made available to the user for strictly personal, non-commercial use. Any reproduction, distribution, resale, or commercial exploitation of generated recipes without prior authorization from the Editor is prohibited.
Content created or imported by the user (ingredient names, personal notes, etc.) remains the user's property. By entering such content in the service, the user grants the Editor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use it solely for providing the service (recipe generation, display, storage).
Collection and processing of user personal data are carried out in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable data protection laws. Detailed processing modalities are described in the Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms of Service.
The user has rights of access, rectification, erasure, data portability, and objection concerning their personal data, exercisable at any time with the Editor at contact@mijotia.com.
Mijotia is a beta version service, provided "as is" without warranty of availability, continuity, or performance. The Editor endeavors to maintain service accessibility but cannot guarantee uninterrupted platform availability.
Service interruptions may occur at any time, including for maintenance, updates, technical failures, third-party service unavailability (hosting provider, AI provider, email service), or any event beyond the Editor's reasonable control (force majeure, cyberattack, etc.).
The Editor reserves the right to modify, temporarily suspend, or permanently discontinue all or part of the service without mandatory notice during the beta phase, and without incurring liability for doing so. In case of permanent service discontinuation, the Editor will make reasonable efforts to inform users within a reasonable timeframe and to allow them to export their data.
Mijotia's paid offerings are provided as a monthly Mijotia+ subscription or supplementary token packages, according to the rates in effect at the time of subscription. Tokens enable recipe generation or regeneration and are debited with each use.
Tokens: Tokens purchased via a one-time package are valid indefinitely. Tokens included in the monthly Mijotia+ subscription reset each month and are not transferable to the following month.
Cancellation: The user may cancel their Mijotia+ subscription at any time from the Profile page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period, which is already fully due. Remaining monthly tokens are forfeited at the end of this period. No prorated refunds are issued, except as required by applicable law.
Right of Withdrawal: Under consumer protection regulations (Directive 2011/83/EU in the EU, equivalent state laws in the US), the fourteen (14) day withdrawal right does not apply to digital content whose execution has commenced with the consumer's express consent and explicit waiver of this right. By completing payment, the user expressly acknowledges having requested immediate service execution and waives the right of withdrawal for consumed tokens. For Mijotia+ subscriptions where no tokens have yet been used, the 14-day withdrawal right remains applicable upon request to contact@mijotia.com.
The Editor reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time, including to adapt to service evolution, legal or regulatory changes, or business model modifications.
Any substantial modification of the Terms will be communicated to the user by email at the address provided during registration, with reasonable notice before taking effect. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
The current version of the Terms is the one accessible on the website at the date of consultation, identified by its update date shown at the top of this document.
The user may delete their account at any time from the application's Profile page. Account deletion results in permanent and irreversible deletion of all associated data (recipes, stock, history), subject to applicable legal retention obligations.
The Editor reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account without notice or compensation in case of Terms violation, fraudulent service use, behavior harmful to the Editor or other users, or non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
In case of account suspension or termination by the Editor for Terms violation, the user cannot claim any compensation or refund of any Mijotia+ subscription in effect, except as required by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by and interpreted according to French law for users in France, or the laws of the user's country of residence for international users, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions. For users in the EU, GDPR and Directive 2011/83/EU apply. For US users, applicable state and federal law applies, including the CCPA for California residents.
In case of dispute regarding the interpretation, performance, or termination of these Terms, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution before any legal action. Failing an amicable agreement, disputes shall be resolved according to the applicable jurisdiction laws and consumer protection provisions.
